As a Christian alternative school, we are teaching all subjects through a Christian worldview. Every day we start with quiet time, during this time we meditate on the Bible and pray. The subjects taught are Bible, Korean Reading, English, Math, Science, Social Studies/History, PE (Swimming, Archery), Chinese, Art, Music, Christian Youth Vision Planning, Drama, Computer, Global Award, STEM, Retake/AP.
Through Bible lessons, quiet time, and chapel services, we learn about loving our Lord and neighbors. Through weekly Vision Periods, we learn the importance of community, media education, and safety education. In addition, we learn more communication skills including actively listening, sharing and showing consideration to others through various school events such as student team activities, club activities, alumni mentorship, retreats, field trips and mission trips.
Classes conducted in English include the Bible, English, Literature, Science, American Mathematics, World History, Cultural Geography, and Economics. Korean Reading, Korean Math, Korean History, Art, Music, and PE are conducted in Korean.
We use BJU, a textbook based on the Christian worldview, recommended books for youth (Korean, English) and authorized textbooks.
Most of our students apply to college abroad to countries such as the United States, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Europe. For those who wish to apply to Korean colleges must study and take the Korean GED and SAT independently.
